this is Christopher Cross's rendition. I really like it! Unfortunately, it is off of a Japanese Import CD. A Burt Bacharach cd called "Bacharach....Applause, The Look of Love". Although Amazon has it listed, it is not available, and I cannot find any store that has it:(. NC

I love Dionne's version of that song (released in April '64) . It brings back memories of when I was looking at the PO3 exam results back in 1965 when I was on board USS Hancock inport
Yokosuka, Japan. All I needed was a score of 020 to promote (if you could spell your name correctly - you passed). All you needed then was a pulse. Viet-Nam (police-action) was happening then and they needed "BB" stackers and "Gun Plumbers" like crazy. I also remember that even the cooks would help load our F-8's for escort of A-4 in Downtown Hanoi. I was about 19/20 then.

Didn't mean to be OT but that song reminds me of then. It's kinda of like when you smell a fresh opened box of Crayola's - It reminds me of grade school. :icon_lol:
