Sorry to be a nuisance DHC2pilot and please bear with me for the intrusion.
I wonder whether anybody from you gentlemen is in a position to decipher this unmistakable italian floater. I have been looking all over for a floater with pull propeller of the same era but to no avail.

There's definitely the tekst 'CANT' on the tail but I can't quite make out the number... I see similarities with this CANT.35:

But the tail is different.

Thanks very much Ferry for your assistance.
It very much looks like a CANT35 (or 37?) although the tail is slightly different....but anything can happen in the wonderful world of aircrafts!

Sorry, BG, I've been away on holiday for a few days, away from my books and a PC !

I think I've found the answer to your riddle, as explained here - it's a CANT 21-bis, I'm pretty sure.....here is a photo of the pusher version
