Hmm...that DC-4E is a new one for me. Tri-tail DC-4 with an enlarged cabin. Interesting....

Very nice, thanks. I only wish there was more interest in classic airlines in the FSX world.

As for other side of commercial flying back then; I was a teen when I took my first airplane flight from Cedar Rapids to Chicago. We flew in an Ozark DC 3 and it was loud, a bit dirty and I spent most of the trip looking out the window and worrying about the oil coming out of the right engine and down the wing.
