I have been paying close attention to the world news and the new viruses that are popping up, Bird flu in China and novel coronavirus in the middle east (and on the move it seems).
The most interesting one that has the possibility of being a major problem is the novel coronavirus.

It is still pretty rare but the death ratio is really high of the 34 known people who have contracted it 20 have died.
It is not viewed to be a possible source of a pandemic as it still seems to be hard to contract even though it may be passed human to human.
Still with a mortality rate of almost 60% its something not to sneeze at... :kilroy:
