Rick, after I saw your screenshot I had to take mine up too! VC-61 eventually became VFP-63 flying RF-8A/G Crusaders during Vietnam.

Love that plane... I remember when Vertigo was talking about doing a series of 50s Naval jets, but I guess the sales didn't justify it. :( I'd love to see a Cougar (particularly the F9F-8 two-seater!) someday.

Yes a nice plane, fun to land on the straight deck carriers like Valley Forge. Been hiding out for a few days in Lynnwood, Blasting off sometime after Oh dark Thirty in the Dreamlifter headed eventually to Charleston SC. Would probably be more fun in an F9F! Cheers to all the PNW hands: Tom
