This is a major rework of the stock p_51d for cfs3.

1. New virtual cockpit with excellent POV with good orientation. In other words you get a sense of being inside the cockpit, enough of the cockpit frame, fuselage, etc is visible to keep your orientation correct.

2. New instrument panel with accurate P51 gauges.

3. Rear view mirror, now you can watch your six by using the F6 key.

4. Accurate Korean War payloads including 75gal drop tanks and Napalm.

History:

Early in the Korean War South Korean President Syngman Rhee was asked what his beleaguered nations armed forces needed most to fight the invading North Korean Army. His answer was simple, more Mustangs. An emergency order went out from Far East Air Force (FEAF) for every available Mustang to be readied for combat, no matter what the aircrafts condition. Soon, after a lot of work both in the Far East and in the US, there were four wings operating F-51D's in theater.

As losses mounted, depleting the number of Mustangs available so did the number of wings operating the type. Eventually only 2 wings, aside from the RoKAF, remained the 67th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing with a single squadron of RF/F-51's and the most famous of them all the 18th FBW.

Project Bout One was made up of a group of 10 weary F-51D Mustangs that were in use around the Far East as target tugs and "Hacks" The riginal intent was for a small group of US Air Force pilots to accompany the planes as advisors and trainers for the RoKAF , but it was soon obvious to everyone that the young Korean pilots were not fully trained and unable to handle the high performance of the mustang in a combat enviroment. Due to this difficulty the USAF pilots began fling combat over the entire width of the Korean Penisula until the arrivale of the Dallas Squadron in Late July 1950.
