I recently ran into a problem with the A2A B-17, the brakes would not apply and I had differential brakes, the only way to get the brakes to work was to use the default key in FSX. After searching I found a solution that might help others. You have to edit a setting in the fsuipc.ini file. This solution was solved by a member over at the A2A forum.
BrakeReleaseThreshold = 75 have to be set to 0 (zero)
