Although we saw a sneak peek of a flight sim project Tom has been working on in his "spare" time over in the FSX forum, a number of people have wondered why he's been rather invisible the last few months. I can tell you he's not been sleeping!

Actually it's my pleasure to let the cat out of the bag and you can be some of the first to know that Tom "Crashwoody" Wood, Flight Sim add-on designer is now Thomas J. Wood, author.

Here is a little peek at his most recent creation...

That's the pre-release copy of the cover of "The Trill'eon Chronicles" which will be released within the next month. To quote from the flyleaf,

"The Trill'eon Chronicles is the first edition of a massive multi-book epic series. It is the story of a great civil war that splits an ancient space-faring kingdom into two warring factions. The story revolves around the ancient war of the Elves from long before the times of magic. Everything in the story is technology based. The story explains the beginning of the Elvin species, how the High Elves and the Dark Elves came into existence. It also introduces and explains the roles of the three master species from whom all other...
It is a true 'classic good-against-evil' story... about the triumph of our human spirit and the unstoppable power of the higher law."

I don't have a definite release date yet and available formats have to be confirmed, but I've been told it will likely be in hard-cover to be followed by paperback and ebook versions. I'll try to post more information as it becomes available.

Best of luck with the new endeavor Tom!

here are links to Canadian and US resellers and I know it's available in Europe as of today
Shop around as the format ( hardcover, paper, e-book) varies, as does the price

For a first book it's pretty good and both the author and his editorial assistant will get better as we go along ;)
