i think those are pretty awesome..would love to try that...need to lose a couple hundred pounds first...

i also wonder....has our (or any ) military AirBourne units thought of using this tech ?....i mean in theory you could have troops jump from a C17 several miles away from the DZ,away from enimy eyes,,and have them silently "fly" in to the target.deploy theyre chutes and bingo....ofcourse someone would have to comeup with a way to transport arms..

Hey Daveroo...

The military already has a means of deploying airborne troops many miles from their intended landing zone so that they arrive undetected. It's called HALO......High Altitude Low Open. The guys jump from their plane WAY UP THERE (like 35,000 feet), glide for many miles.....I have seen reports of them covering upwards of 26 miles of horizontal distance....and pop their chutes at around 1000 feet.
