Thanks a million Bruce, now I can replace that stock cruiser I have anchored where the Missouri is today in Pearl Harbor.

There is no end to your talent of creation. Boy am I glad of that. :rapture:

I've been by the real USS New Jersey a few times sitting tied up in the Delaware River across from Philadelphia's Penns landing. She looks great N332DW, and a great addition to FSX too. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v64/GT182/Thumbup.gif

How can she be place in the Delaware River where she's tied up now, if possible?

Google is showing her as BB-62. N332DW, is BB-63 correct?

BB-63 (Missouri) is in Pearl Harbor. BB-62 (New Jersey) is at Camden, NJ. They are both Iowa class battlewagons, and so they look the same (more or less.)

I toured the Big J about a year ago. They've done a heck of a job with her upkeep. Heck, I got married a few months back just across the river in plain sight of her. She's quite impressive even today.

the 63 in the thread title was a fat finger - it's BB-62 NJ , she has a different tripod and mast structure from the Missouri --- and repainting a 64 in place of the 62 on the texture map should be an easy do it yourself project

-- and i thought there was already a fletcher that would work over at FS-shipyards

and has anyone fired the guns yet? i was kinda happy with the way that came out

Well I have a Battleship row at MUGM NAS. MUGM NAS was a known location for all US BB's for midshipmen cruise and training. Still going over 50 years of port records.

How would one go about converting this to a BGL file so it can be placed as a static object?

JT8D-9A

You need the GUID (i use ModelconverterX (http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=87) for that purpose) and a XML file with the Model Data and placement data.
See ("Model Data"): http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526978.aspx#ModelData

Gdavis101, Nils suggestion works like a charm. That is how I make my static battlewagon Missouri for Pearl Harbor. I certainly did not want her off running around the ocean.
