Never heard Hendrix on a Korean instrument before! :applause:

Makes me want to crank up my amps (bass and guitar) and play along! :icon_lol:

Awesome. Saw something very similar on the Blues Train (http://www.thebluestrain.com.au/) near Melbourne a month ago. A Japanese guy singing & playing blues with a lady playing an electric Japanese instrument. George Kamikawa and Noriko Tadano (http://www.georgekamikawa.com.au/). Very cool.

:icon29:Great stuff, I think Jimi would be honored to hear his music explored like that. Reminds me of Trio Marsicano...Indian twist on Hendrix :mixedsmi: A real psychedelic interpretation of psychedelic rock:naturesm:
Here is their take on 'Fire'

Awesome music there by George and Noriko. The blues doesn't care where you are from or what your musical background is, it is all good :salute::icon29: The Yoshida brothers are also very good at bringing out Japanese blues.

Talented gal, I thought she was Korean and the instrument Japanese. My mistake, gayageum instrument is Korean and related to Chinese guzheng, the Japanese koto, the Mongolian yatga, and the Vietnamese dan tranh.
(learned something, ouch - my head)
She has a lot more tunes in her repertoire. Here's a few more links.

@Stiz - howdee! Stumbled across wimp.com a while back - didn't really appreciate until a couple leads lead me there and realized was not just for dogs skateboarding and stuff.
A few of the science related entries caught my interest, then I just had to go through the archives to get caught up.
Keeping an eye out daily now - good stuff (amidst the chaff) to be found there.
