General Dynamics F-111 68-0265(C/N B1-37)built as a FB-111A one off 76 aircraft and this unit being the third batch of 54 (C/N 0239 through 0292) was delivered to the USAF on October 28, 1970. While assigned to the 380th Bomb Wing at Plattsburgh AFB, 68-0265 carried the nickname "Angel in de Skies" but also known as "Net Results". The aircraft was converted to an F-111G and sold to Australia as A8-265 arrived at RAAF Amberley September 28 1993 and Withdrawn from use to be scapped in July 2002.

Good spotting AusWilko Ooo Bugger :sleep: ... At least it's correct on the aircraft!

I have the Aerosoft F-16 in a box, and on the back it says: "It looks like an angle, flies like an angle, but is a devil in disguise!" Ouch....

The first shield emblem to the right of the nose art is the 509th Bomb Wing shield, which was at Pease AFB New Hampshire. Pease AFB was the first base to operate the FB-111, in the 393rd Bomb Squadron.

The first was assigned or in transition from the 509th with first two batch's of five for training before final deployment with the 380th , guess they shared the aircraft maybe that's were second name "Net Results" was used , no photo of it in that guise .
