Before the latest WOPIII version of the P-40 was released I did some repaints. I never released them as they were obsolete when the latest version was released as I was told this version has a different texture lay-out.
P-40B of 77th PS 20th PG Oakland airfield California 1941

Tomahawk Mk.IIb, AK367 “C” (US designation P-40C) 112 Squadron RAF. Pilot Unknown. Based at Sidi Heneish, Egypt, Summer 1941. This was one of the first P-40s to receive the "Shark mouth".

Tomahawk Mk.IIb, AN303 "E (US designation P-40C) 112 Squadron RAF. This aircraft was occasionally flown by Flight Lieutenant Gerald Westenra and Sergeant Donald McQueen. Based at Fort Maddelena, Libya. The aircraft belonged to the same unit as above and originally was painted in the same "Curtiss factory colours". The "Dupont green" was painted over with "mid stone" and the light gray was replaced by azure blue. And the first evolution of the shark mouth is already visible.

BTW for those who don't like the AVG pilot: you can just replace the pilot textures by those from the P-47

And I really though I was the only one who never upgraded.....
I will make a package and upload later this week. Hopefully tomorrow and otherwise on Wednesday.
About the "grey C": The pilot's personal symbol under the canopy depicts an Indian chief head and was inspired on a hood ornament from a pre-war Pontiac.
Cheers,
Huub

I have decided to make two packages. One with for the Tomahawk IIB (112 squadron) and one with the US liveries.
Sorry it took a bit longer than I thought, but I have just uploaded the 122 squadron package.
Enjoy,
Huub

You're not alone Huub.
I'm (just me, myself) not much of an accusim fan, I find all the screaming passengers in the Statocruiser as we auger in quite unnerving!! :icon_eek:
And I agree, it is nice to find some of your repaints again.
