There are quite a few IR and VR routes that track across eastern Washington. I spent four years at Whidbey in the VA community back in the 70's, we had jets on those routes all day long, five days a week. Don't have much time to punch out if something goes wrong on a low-level. Hand salute and RIP to the flight crew. :salute:

What a shame. God's speed to their souls.

I've watched the Intruders and Prowlers over many years fly down the Columbia River Gorge and over the Yakima Firing Center.

I have seen many of these "Electric Six" aircraft onboard the Nimitz and Lincoln, sad to see another one lost, especially the aircrew in terms of human life that can never be replaced ... Mike
