Morton has released a BoB package of the AH Hurricane over at Simviation in the CFS2 section. (http://simviation.com/1/download-file?file=BoB-Hurricanes.zip&fileId=43338)

This is the complete AC, and flies extremely well in FS9, just like his previously released Spitfire pack.
The only adaptations I had to make are the prop textures, lights, and incremental flap settings.
The 7! textures and the 2D panel are stunning, the 3D panel very usable.
Very nice indeed! :applause:

Stuart

PS: You also need to add your favourite Merlin sounds, but I would have done that anyway!

Stuartcox,

Did you also happen to notice that he released a complete Balkan Hurricanes package as well which includes actual tail numbers and skins of Richard Acworth, Nigel Cullen, and Marmaduke "Pat" Pattle for RAF 33, 80 and 112 Squadrons?

What's even better is they're now here in our own library. Thanks Morton and Rami.

Stuart,

Thanks for the heads-up and link for the Hurri skins. Do you still have a link for the BoB Spit skins?

As far as I know, the Aero Plane Heaven model of the Spit Mk Ia, used by Morton in his BoB skins, is the only model that depicts the blunt nose prop spinner produced by the prop manufacturer Rotol at that time for their automatically variable pitch, 3-bladed props.

Hurricanes used the Spitfire's blunt nose prop spinner during the BoB due to shortages of the standard De-Havilland spinners and pending the introduction of the standardized slightly longer spinner for the Hurricane.

One of Sky Unlimited's Hurricane models had this 'Spitfire' blunt nose spinner (but a little too exaggerated in shape and size).

Did Aero Plane Heaven ever produce a Hurricane model with this blunt nose spinner?

Am sure that Stuart will know this.

Hi Mal,
Thanks for referring to me, as I am not aware of any... :mixedsmi: !
The only ones I know about with the 'blunt' spinner are Robert Sanderon's MkIIA with Rotol variable-pitch type, or a ten year old model by J.R. Lucariny. (@ flightsim.com).
I'm glad you asked that question, giving me some research to do...

Regards, Stuart
