A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Skins
Description: Textures for use with the FSX native Sopwith Camel (Sopwith Camel.ZIP) aircraft by Craig Richardson, Matt Ivey, Pam Broker and Paul Frimston.
These textures represent 2F.1 Camel, Unit unknown, Serial N6616. Delivered in 1919, the aircraft was obtained from HMS VINDICTIVE and served alongside other British aircraft like the Avro 504K and DH.9. Pilot was RAF pilot, Capt. Claude Emery. He flew for the so called Estonian Aviation Company in 1919, a semi-military organization recruited mostly from British aviators to defend the Baltic states against the Bolshevik's. They also used British airplanes, so that we found several Camels, Avrosand other British ex WWI stuff with Estonian markings. 2F1 N6616 was based at several locations such as Biorko, Lasnamagi and Koivisto.
Many thanks to Craig Richardson and Team for this wonderful aircraft and to Craig in particular for this very user friendly paintkit. Craig graciously consented to add specularity to the metal and wood bearing files which I modulated to add specular reflectivity of various intensity to the engine cowling, engine cover and exterior pilot 'office'.
