Have fun with that! Photography is an excellent hobby. You get out what you put in. It is a very slippery slope though. You can spend thousands of dollars without blinking.

There's a whole bunch of us here that know a good deal about cameras and photography. Feel free to ask questions! :wavey:

You will enjoy the D3200. It is an excellent camera with technical specs. and abilities which rival some of Nikon's and Canon's more expensive cameras. Come join us in the Photography forum and show some of your pictures.

Two things you need to know right off-hand: Canon is the best, and all the professionals use Flickr.

As Kiwikat said, " It is a very slippery slope though. You can spend thousands of dollars without blinking"..

So as long as you stay ignorant to these things:
-Fast prime lens
-Fast constant zoom
-70-300

You'll save yourself a bunch of $$$......:icon_lol:
