Hey Hanimichal very nice Repaints of VF-1 Wolfpack, thank you!

I post my question from the other Thread here again: Any Chance to get a repaint of that "A" Cat(BuNo 160661) on the picture from VF-84 in the 90's? Maybe someone who could make repaints could do this (i don't have the skill for doing repaints)?

Hanimichal, great job on VF-1 and looking forward to the VF-84 bird, got to have my "Bones".

CAG is Commander, Air Group. Generally any x00 modex aircraft is specially painted to represent the Air Wing commanders jet. Any x01 will be reserved for the squadron commander and have some form of special paint, just not more than the "00" jet. When VF-1/2 first got the Tomcat, the USN still had color on all squadron aircraft until the 1980's and the subdued low vis tactical paint scheme took over.

to all involved with the F-14 I thank you

the new repaints are all terrific, as you can see I love the big Cat

one issue I have with the model has to do with the catapult launches from Javiers Nimitz carrier...

I saw the item about the afterburners, thank you Pam for breaking that down into the likely cause relating to the 'crouch' of the F-14...

my issue has to do with contact points - the nose gear seems to punch down though the deck on launch.

this is a purely aesthetic issue having to do with screenshots, but if it is fixable - a cure would be welcome

aside from that small thing, which probably doesn't bother anyone but me...this Iris plane is a terrific value

Yes, All fs9 texture working, only you must add thumbnail and texture.cfg to the texture folder.

Ferris scheme applied to a few jets in the late 70's/early 80's as a test. Agree very cool camo and not sure if I have ever seen it painted up for any FS model Tomcat.

I think only a couple of VF-1's Tomcats were painted with the Ferris scheme. It was during the AIMVAL/ACEVAL tests.

It is exciting to see all this attention on the Tomcat. Awesome job Hanimichal on the new paints, keep it up!
