Dang.. Never heard of it. They must not sell it here in the land of dust and cactii.

I do appreciate sipping A&W Rootbeer from a frosty mug. I remember when I was a kid, dad would get us a carryout order from the local A&W drive through restaurant. You bought A&W rootbeer in cardboard cone looking containers instead of at the store, and you could buy the mugs too. (We still have one).

No alcohol or caffeine in the stuff, ergo I don't drink it! :d

Seriously, where I grew up, we use to chew on sassafras root all the time as kids. For the unknowing sassafras root is what give root beer its flavor. Like Bill, that's a new one on me, never seen it in these parts. I have to drive to North Carolina just to get Cheerwine! :d

Man, that brings back memories, my family used to hit the A&W stand also, loved that place!

Funny, don't care for root beer much anymore, but LOVE Mountain Dew :d

I have talked to so many developers and alot of gamers, and they all drink the same thing... Mountain Dew.

It is said to have the highest amount of sugar in a soda drink, and thus the highest kick. This enables them to live off of the neon green drink for ages without coming out of their rooms or offices.... (The brain runs on oxygen and glucose).

Also Mountain Dew has twice the caffeine of a regular Coke, which can't hurt with the kick and staying awake long hours staring at glowing phosphorescence. And then there's Jolt cola, or Red Bull....

Yep, learned that the hard way Bill. I used to drink it like water and over a 6 month period when I was learning 3DSMax as I went and sitting on my butt most of the night I gained like 20 lbs, LOL. I cut myself off cold turkey and got horrible headaches from the withdrawal of caffeine (highest amount of a normal softdrink)

I really just like the way it tastes and only have one a couple of times a week now. I don't drink coffee, but if I need a jump start (which is very rare) I find the green AMP does the trick, LOL

My beverage of choice: A&W diet root beer. I wish Pepsi still made their great Jazz diet sodas.

No Hanks in NW chicagoland, but these are good: http://drinkstewarts.com/flavors.aspx

We used to be able to get these here: http://www.beveragesdirect.com/products/henryweinhards/

I recommend the Creme, and Orange Creme from both brands
