Now that I am up and running pretty good. Strong 30 FPS unless around big airports maybe third party aircraft, oh,medium display settings. I have upgraded my computer to an AMD FX-6300 processor with a Radeon 7770 VGA Card and a enhanced cooling system. My tech said to try since this is a 6 core processer adding

[JOBSCHEDULER]
AffinityMask=14

Little gun shy since I had a rough time reinstalling the program. I know where to add this tweak could I get some imput on pro's,con's would it help? Am I already doing good? Been flying add on default aircraft live weather hours on end checking things out runnig missions. Everything looks good some stutters and like I said frame rate drops around places like KSEA,PHNL bigger airports. AI at around 15-20. FSX installed.

I also have a 6 core and when I ran Jesus's program it set mine to 1433. I am guessing this is because I have hyperthreading turned on also.

Just what kind of improvements should I be looking for before I try? I'm really looking to improve the frame rate around heavy areas and maybe turn my sliders up a bit for improved graphics. Have a little flicker other the that from what I have read i'm doing pretty good.

Tried that before my upgrade the Jesus tweak. Thought it helped but then my system started acting up ctd's, run time errors and locking up even with my FS9 don't know what the causes where but right now I'm taking it slow cause everythings working great again and If it works don't fix it I have been told. However, I get greedy and want more every time I make it better I think I can make it better more.. Know what I mean? Sometimes not a good idea.

that affinity mask setting is for a quad core, I believe. the affinity mask tweak helps fight microstutters by trying to spread the processor load more, I believe it disables a texture loading core though. In my own experience, it seems to run a "little" smoother when I have this activated, but I get more blurries. I don't run with the setting any more, personally.
