They even modified a Klimov P-40 with two places...

They used P-40 at second line formations. They prefer the striped P-39! A Soviet Airacobra was almost 500 kg lighter than an American one. They retired some armour and all wings machine guns. They also flew them always at emergency power.

No, it was 13 KPH slower... But, they had no Allison replacement.

I must tell you that I've made a mistake: the skins for the Iris P-40 Warhawk uploaded yesterday are made by me and not by Peperez: he is only the uploader of the conversion of the Iris model.
