Yes lovely shots Jankees, and let me take this opportunity to tell you how much I enjoy your WW2 fighter repaints and their historical accuracy!

By the way, I didn't even know there was any photoreal scenery for Italy - whose is it?

Really nice shots Jankees. after NL2000 i can not really enjoy flying over the generic terrain of fsx.

now i only fly with tileproxy. with todays fast internet connections and hardware i am able to enjoy good photorealistic terrain even at a decent speed of 230 250 knots. no blurries! and better frame rates than default fsx because it is not rendering trillions of houses and trees.

kind regards,

Meso

Happy Near Year Mr Jankees,
Happy Near Year at All,
If you like the photoréal, also a possibility if you have a very good pc : Mr Franck Dainese'scenery.
The Val d'Aoste in Italy in high resolution (near the Mt Blanc) part1 and part2 here :
http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=dainese&categoryId=

Also in the page two, "the Barre des écrins" (French Alpes)
And : "Gran Paradiso National Park. Italian Alps, Mountain Scenery" ... (also in HD).

Good flight and blue sky, s.

Excellent, thanks a lot for that link. Italy here I come (virtually speaking)!

Yes, the default scenery is basically unuseable once you've tried anything else. At the moment I'm having a lot of fun discovering southern California thanks to Blue Sky Scenery's photoreal freeware.
