I know many people were a bit disappointed when a sale at PCAviator for all Flight Replicas aircraft appeared to have run out, but I am pleased to say it is still running:http://www.pcaviator.com.au/store/Flight-Replicas/ at least until Aussie midnight. This gives you 50% off all Flight Replicas aircraft. If you were wanting to take advantage initially, but missed out, now is your chance!! Also still on sale, at 40% off are Alabeo and Vertigo Studios, Iris with their $10 everything sale, and Nemeth designs, at 50% off. This is all at PCAviator Australia, not the US shop.

Craig, thanks for the heads-up, I grabbed the Boomerang. Just FYI, payment wouldn't go through for me when I attempted to use PayPal, went through OK when I used my plastic.

That's odd - when I purchased the Me-109 today, I used Paypal with no problems. By the way, all the FR aircraft are MORE than worth it at the current prices. And the textures aren't bad either.

I thought it was a little strange, got an error prompt saying something about vendor requiring a correct shipping address which shouldn't be an issue with a download. Anyway it was no big deal and yes, I thought the Boomerang was a bargain and the textures were a big selling point - cockpit details too.

Was this one from the Russian front, with "snow" colored markings..?

This post made me head over to PCAviator and buy the L-4 and the Me109K.
A pleasant surprise for the L4 was that it has two Solomon Islands repaints with it.
I have much fun with the Cup! Thanks!

Image is of a spotter flight near Ballale, Shortland Islands. In reality nobody would have dared that with a L-4 during that stage of the conflict.

Cheers,
Mark

If L-4 owners are interested, they should perhaps check out the Piper L-4 Cub Owners and Fan Club on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Piper-L-4-Cub-Owners-and-Fan-Club/165932753435388

I think you'll be amazed at what these little aircraft and their crews did. A very under-appreciated combat warbird. Some of this club's members were very helpful during research and testing the FR model, too.
