Congrats: NASCAR's Trevor Bayne is stepping out of the fast lane and settling down. The Knoxville area native and 2011 Daytona 500 champion has announced his engagement on Twitter (https://twitter.com/Tbayne21/status/282656396527419394/photo/1). "Well Ladies and Gentlemen, she said yes," Bayne tweeted. The message was accompanied with a photo of Bayne and his fiance, Ashton Clapp, at a ski slope. Bayne's father confirmed the engagement via text message to WATE 6 Sports on Saturday.
