No obvious forum for this so anyone any ideas:
I occasionally get this error message:
"Pw save The object invoked has disconnected from it's client."

Vista 32 Home Premium, Office 2003 (have a feeling it may be this).

Thanks,

Roger.

It has to do with Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) option in the BIOS.

Ha ha,
Yes I always Google first but by the 10th page I lost the will to carry on:costumes:
It's clearly beyond my feeble abilities to comprehend hence my post. I think it may be an issue with Office 2003 but gawd knows what???

Check the first link in the Google listing:

http://www.techsupportforum.com/hardware-support/motherboards-bios-cpu/255776-how-disable-acpi-pw-save-exe-asus-780i-mb.html

http://www.acpi.info/ (http://www.acpi.info/)
It is also unadvisable to disable it.

If the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) option is enabled in your computer's BIOS when you initially install Windows XP and you later disable the ACPI option, you will receive error messages on a blue screen when you start Windows.<!-- google_ad_section_end --><!-- / message --><!-- edit note -->
