Well, since there were no responses, I took a chance.......
downloaded N. Carolina. 21 humongous files - took about 3 hrs. (my first experience with MegaScenery).
........loaded into P3D no problem.
I'm kinda "iffy" on the results..........its nice to be able to fly over my house, the nearby park and pond, etc, but when you get down on the ground, there's NOTHING.
No trees, fences or structures except for very basic stuff.
It looks pretty good from the air though, and I guess that's what counts..........

Hey Luckydog,

I have been using MegaScenery and MegaScenery Earth in P3D with great results. But I use version 1 of the series. The older versions have night lighting and autogen. Not like their v2.0 where they claim flat is better, ha! I would stay away from the new stuff and get the old stuff. I picked up all of their version 1.0 at 'Flightsim Deal of the Day' where I got everything at 50% off. Not sure if they run that anymore or not. Looks like they might discontinue v1 as I see it overlapping Michigan.

As said, I have them all, with SoCal being the best IMHO and Florida being the worst (lots of clouds on the textures).

Just some comments....
