About a year a go I was asked to make 22 individual skins for the Virtavia/Alphasim Hunter by the video maker Mike Glynn, and had the pleasure (I say loosely) of speaking with a few of the pilots involved to get the schemes correct.

10 days ago I was sent this link

Great video..well done!:applause:

I wonder if the current day RAF could field 22 operational fighter aircraft on the one day...let alone loop them in formation?:kilroy::icon_lol:

Very nice indeed -- a most enjoyable video. Done with excellent drama and musical accompaniment.

Speaking of which, can anyone tell me the name of that opening theme? I should know it, but it somehow eludes me.

I think its the theme tune to the film The Island a track called "The Island awaits you" by Steve Jablonsky

Nice job on producing the video and also on the individual skins -- no small task.

Nice work on both the paints and the film. As Frank also say, the first think which came to my mind was all the work associated with making the repaints...

I guess that is true for most of Europe's air forces.. Back in the days a single fighter squadron could muster that number of combat ready aircraft.

Bruce: Many thanks for the Steve Jablonsky lead! Good call! I managed to find the piece with little trouble, after getting that tidbit from you.

By the bye, it's certainly from The Island, and the name is My Name Is Lincoln, for anyone else who may possibly be a music freak such as I.

Thanks again, Bruce.

That is one of the best videos on formation aerobatics. What a gaggle of Hunters and all on the same page.
