I've got to say the specular "shine" on this thing is so fake-looking. This is a composite aircraft, not a shiny aluminum airframe. I've already emailed them once about it I really hope they fix it for release (I doubt it)

Here's one of the shiniest I've ever seen..

Here's another more standard white livery (my pic). There's not a whole ton of reflection to it.

Anyway I'm only picky because I see these things day in day out. Other than that I'm looking forward to the release.

**dev nit pick of comment**
its the reflection thats a tad overkill, the "shine" seems to be resonable :) :engel016::wavey:

Thanks I'm not sure what the thing is called. Re-reading my post it comes off pretty negative. Not a great way to lead the topic lol... I really am looking forward to the plane.

Yeh it sure does, any new painted plane had better have some shine.Maybe as stated above a little too much reflection,Dull is for warbirds.

I am not around them all the time, but I think Carenado has come pretty close to the real world photos. I like the shinny new look.

I think if I am ever able to swing a plane of any description, it will be as shinny as I can make it. My motorcycle was and my RC planes are; until I crash them. :icon_lol:

Yes I agree, the reflectivity is a bit much. I'm not a great user of light GA but this one has a very very nice VC. Has anyone noticed the scratches in the windshield?
But I will wait for feedback on the flight dynamics before any purchase...

$340 bucks.. wow :mixedsmi:

As you can already guess, that price is just so that people won't be rushing off to buy the aircraft, as it's not quite ready yet to be released so that page is just a placeholder until final release. :P

EDIT: P.S: It's been released now.
