Ok tonight i was looking through the fsx.cfg and edited these lines to make the sim more realistic, so no stall, overspeed or brake messages:
usually behind the equal sign it sais true
InfoBrakesEnable=False
InfoParkingBrakesEnable=False
InfoPauseEnable=True
InfoSlewEnable=True
InfoStallEnable=False
InfoOverspeedEnable=False

For the widescreen users like myself there is another line in the cfg that can be changed (i've found this change a real pleasure myself)

This enables you to oversee almost all gauges in the VC at normal zoom (1.00) and the outside world as well.
WideViewAspect=True

I'm going to give that a try tonight. Thanks for the tip.

Anyone found a way to eliminate those utterly pointless messages that tell you what level of zoom you're using in spot or vc etc.......
