This week I was contacted by a gentleman who had located and purchased the original plane that my Dad had built some of the parts for (tail group and some of the wing parts). In the course of researching on the net as he prepares to restore it he found my FSX rendition, which he liked very much. He went on to grab the FSX Thorp as well. I forwarded his e-mails to Dad, and he's interested in seeing how the project turns out. Too bad this transpired AFTER I was done as I could have been dead-on with my model. Perhaps I will re-work it in the future. Funny how things can go like this...
