With the MINSK and KIEV to fly off, I though I'd have a look
at improving the flight dynamics a bit. Transitions and STOVL
were a bit of a big of hammers on this one, lots of ballooning
no rotation on take off. Seemed to me the CG was out of whack,
so I made some adjustments. The net effect is that the aircraft
can be rotated off the ground in conventional mode and in STOVL mode,
though a skijump ramp is best used in conventional mode with full (position4) flaps.
Transitions are smoother in landing and take off, with full pitch authority
through out, and excessive nose down eliminated. Fly approach to landing as a normal
aircraft, transitioning to jet lift STOVL mode at 130 kts or so. A STOL approach can be flown
down to the deck at 68KTS at flap and nozzle position 6.
A few extra repaints, a MTI/surface search radar, and its good to go.

You bet. I have a list of things I want to touch up first. No hate mail back about CofG shift or changes, so I guess thats OK.
