please help me activate all aircraft that are in the aircraft folder.
when i try to change aircraft i see only some in the list .
please advise.

Hi Ronald,

The reason you may not be seeing all the aircraft in your aircraft folder is that some of them may be incomplete or some are intended as AI only. There is a parameter in the AIR (flight model) file that determines AI use only. There are missing pieces such as a panel that prevents an aircraft from being selectable for player use but still allows AI use. There are a lot of other pieces that if missing will prevent ANY use. Check to see what might be missing.

Hi Ronald.

If it's not too much to ask, could you give us a list of the plane that are showing, a list of the plane that are in your folder and a list of those not appearing? As you've just been told by Ivan, some airplanes are not meant to show as flyable as they're only AI (artificial intelligence) aircraft designed to show as friends or foes during mission and campaigns.

all other aircraft are not in the list

seems to me you got only stock

follow the readme files to install and you should be OK, but not all of them are complete versions and some of them are AI only or don't work under XP (altough some of the last can be fixed)

to make downloadable planes show up as enemy in quickcombat you need QC editor available at simviation (under utilities I believe) or change the QC file in notepad (always make a backupcopy first)
