Wow that is some serious flying showing what a DC-4 can do:icon29: I notice it has a slightly nose down altitude in level flight at speed.

The plane's cockpit must be customized to provide room for the pilot's extremely large balls. :icon_lol:
But you'll notice he didn't do those near 90-degree banks until he had enough altitude to do it safely. Betcha it sounded great if you were there in person.

That was some incredible flying with that big girl! I bet the airframe was making some hellacious noises during that exhibition!:applause:

Air America pilot? As nuts as he is, where did he find anyone else to go up as copilot? I'd love to have an audio from the inside to hear all the creaks, cracks and groans that bird was making :icon_lol:.

One has to wonder how many times you could do this to one airframe before something decides to separate.

Never seen one looped before, though. Pilot is a BOLD flier -- hope he becomes an OLD flyer.

IIRC the SAAF used and perfected those techniques during border war, to avoid hostile fire.

Reminds me of the topdressing Ag pilots in DC3's in New Zealand - only without the loops - lovely to watch - if a little heart in mouth..... (they only had one shed a wing......)
