This was email to me

A lady last week tried landing the wrong direction at French Valley with a quarterly crosswind in a Piper warrior. She drifted off the runway and clipped the tail of a brand new Cessna G1000 that was taxiing. She applied full power and was now heading towards the aircraft parked on the field.

Damage to: (not pictured)
Andrew Limey Webbs Yak 52
Mooney M20E
Rockwell 235.
Pictured
Cessna 170
Piper Cherakee Six
Cessna 182 G1000
They were lucky to walk away with minor cuts and bruises. They were renting out of Brown Field and were insured. Damage claims from this accident will be high.

Naw, I see that all the time. Usually it really doesn't matter.

I've also seen small commuter jet pilots land on the taxiway instead of the runway.

A few years ago they painted one of the taxiways at Palm Beach International to stop people from landing on it.

I'm not a pilot in real life (but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express), but at least a couple of times in FSX I've arrived at an unfamiliar airport and performed my approach lined up on a wide taxiway instead of the runway.

The "Holiday Inn Express"comment is hysterical!
