Excellent news! I was just wondering last week if we were going to ever see a new T-28 built for FSX.

It's looking superb, Anthony!

really exciting. The T28 is one of my favorite planes and his sierra lsa is one of my favorite fsx planes. :applause:

That's the paint scheme on Park Zone's RC electric T-28D. A great little flier. Looking forward to having a FSX native version. Thanks Ant.

Having a little bit of time on the T-28B and the Fennec, and have just installed FSX - I for one will be looking forward to this.

I have flown with several Navy Pilots that learned to fly in them, and the Forrestry dept here used to have two. One is now owned by a guy in North Pole.

Ants work is brilliant but I've never bought any of his payware simply because none of the subjects where really my bag but I have to say this peaks my interest...excellent.

Hello to everyone, on the subject of the T-28 Trojan, I can't wait to try it out. I was attached to VT-27 (Basic Prop) Training Squadron in Corpus Christi, Tx for about five years and put in a lot of hours flying them. It was the best job a person could have. They are a sweet machine. I've been flying FSX for about 3 years and flew FS9 before that. I look forward to flying this one.:salute:

This will be an insta-purchase for me the day it's released. Just to hear that radial go prap-prap-prap-prappity-prap.

What a fortuitous conikydink this is. I just finished scanning a 212 page North American engineering document called NA-53-2 ESTIMATED PERFORMANCE DATA FOR NAVY MODEL T-28B. I sent anthony31 a link to it so the flight model maker will have hours and hours of fun reading through it!

P.S. = anthony31 is the person referred to at the top of this thread as “Ants”, correct?

Correct.

Thanks for the docs PRB. There's some nice data in there which will be sure to come in handy. Really nice scans too. Some other docs I've got (I think I've downloaded just about everything on the T28 I could find) are a bit rough, yours are really clear.

Here's the pics from the link to aussiex.

I should point out that I am working on a T28D. A, B and C models may follow at a later date but this first release will only be the D model (source aircraft is indeed VH-TRO from http://www.warbirdaviation.com.au/). The reason for this is sanity. I think if I spent too long working on a plane that I would go fruit loopy so I need to break it up into manageable bits.
