Any reason for me to reinstall Robert?

From what you were looking at to the release version there were enough changes that I'd say yes. We found a few minor visuals to fix, and I made some flight model tweaks. Any artwork you have done so far is still good, and I look forward to seeing it. Thanks for your help! :salute:

My contributions....not a lot of good images on the IMP that I could find, these are to be considered "fictional" even though I did find a few shots about the size of a postage stamp that looked similar.

I know what you mean about the lack of images. There are not many real Imps around! The paints look good...I'm guessing they are going to be uploaded, thanks in advance!

Neat wee birdie Guys:mixedsmi: She really doesn't like to stop doing her thing though. Guess she has that in common with other hot chicks :icon_eek: May have to strengthen her stoppng power. Either that or plan my approaches better -- nah that would be too logical.:cowboy:

I saw this post earlier and was a little surprised because I hadn't seen this in any of the flights I'd done thus far. I took the airplane back up and tried a no-flaps landing on a 3600' rwy. . .touching down beyond the numbers (trees at the end of the rwy), I was still able to pull off the rwy prior to the end of the rwy by about 600'. Rough math tells me I probably used about 2500' of actual rwy from touch-down to exiting the rwy. Not bad and when I step on the brakes, the braking is immediate and steady.

You really have to plan ahead prior to landing to get the approach set up. I flare it around 70-80 and have no problems stopping.

Great add-on - many thanks! I ended up substituting Alphasim's (Virtavia) Rutan Long-Ez sounds for the default Mooney's. Seems like a better fit for the aircraft.

Good Idea for those that have the Long EZE!

"May have to strengthen her stoppng power. Either that or plan my approaches better -- nah that would be too logical."

Y'all must have missed the second part of my comment LOL

I'm forever coming in too hot because I always fail to plan a mice long, shallow approach. Therefore I can't bleed off enough speed to make a proper landing within a reasonable stopping distance.

Like I said, that would be WAYYYY too logical -- for me at any rate. The challenge(read fun) for me is to get 'er down even when I'm too steep and too fast.

After all what is the worst that can happen....................................?

Try side-slipping if you are hot on the approach (i.e opposite stick and rudder). The Mini-Imp side-slips very nicely and will bleed speed quite rapidly in the slip allowing you get lined up in time.

You could also try the 'falling leaf' manoeuvre which is to side-slip to opposite sides alternately.

Thank-you Robert!

Love this little bird..

Everyone feel free to use the o-200 soundset that I developed with the ARX-6, seeing as it also is a pusher.

Thanks Falcon409. I have a little more I want to do to the paint and some people, I wont mention who (Tako Kichi), have questioned why I have two N#s. :173go1:

As for the flight charateristics of the aircraft it feels great and I seem to have better control at 90 mph on takeoffs and landings.

Any chance N2056 of an update in powerplant like a nice 21st century technology small turbine (Rolls Royce Nimbus or RR-500)?:jump:

Generally unless there is something in the model that is hosed once I upload one I am done. Otherwise I would never manage to get free of a project! :icon_lol:
The flight model is there for folks to tweak at will. ;)
