Here's the last batch of exterior shots before release, promised.
Some for the roundels and tricolore fans.

Tim, a paintkit will be included.
As for your previous question, paypal/download will do initially, though we're looking into alternatives if internet purchase is not an option.
Seeing that you come from my " südliches Nachbarland" there may be a way to send out a CD for instance.
I should post final details once the website creators are done with their work and all the security stuff is worked out.

I must say that it is my payment means of preference...you just have to log in and that's it. I hate having to type in all that plastic info every time I want to buy something.

Just hang in there guys, the website maker is currently implementing the systems.
Havn't seen it all yet but we'll have paypal, creditcards and via manual processing offline payment if e-commerce is not for you.
Details should be available within the next couple of days at our site inclusive a major website update (which is long overdue, I know).

i have no problem paying online with a credit card as long as its not thru paypal, id rather type in all my info which takes all of 2 minutes than get hit with a fee from paypal

Just remember that PayPal are not a bank, they have no protection, no code of conduct, you are effectively giving your money to a private company and saying "I'll trust your honesty to pass it on to the person supplying me with the goods".

There's a problem. They're not honest. They're perfectly happy to find any excuse at all to hang on to that money and refuse to pass it on. They actually lied to me twice in one phone call as to why they couldn't give someone the money I had sent them, then they told me that they (a company that deals solely in webforms) couldn't accept an instruction from the vendor to refund me because it had been done through their webform and that wasn't secure... Er... excuse me?

I will never trust PrayPal ever again.

Well that's very unfortunate Ian. However I have used Paypal since 2003 and have never had a problem.
Even though it is not a bank it seems that like every bank they do sometimes make mistakes.

My congratulations go to Ian for managing to speak to them on the phone !
That said, I only had one problem a few years ago through Ebay, I think Paypal is a great way of paying, just a password then you're done.

IanP
January 6th, 2009, 14:07
They will answer the phone, they will then try to obfuscate, confuse and blame anyone but themselves for the problem. Their terms and conditions say that they can keep your money for as long as they want, because of reasons that they decide, and until you jump through as many hoops as they want, in the way that they want, until they might (or might not) release the money to your account. They are totally unregulated and totally beyond control. It's up to you if you want to trust them, but when you lose money (just because you haven't does not mean you will never, a heck of a lot of people have), then you have no comeback and no-one to complain to.

I may use them when forced to. I will never trust them.

kudos to your success but as far as this thread is concerned as well as experience with others that i know, your a minority.

Bottom line is i, a potential customer, will not purchase this if i am going to be forced to use paypal, i will either wait until it shows up on another website or simply fly something else, its actually quite a shame that such a masterpiece has to be gimped by a horrible purchasing means.

You are not in the minority Roger, I have used them since 2002 for my game design transactions ($1000s transferred into that account) and have never had a problem with them, sorry some have. I try not to ever to use a credit card online, just to many security risks.

:focus: sweet looking warbird!!

My all time favorite WWII era German fighter. Will the released textures have complete
insignia like the sepia above or will they be PC like the those shown in color here and on
the website? I'm an accuracy freak.

Frank, there'll be no *historical accurate German tail markings* in the download.
It's not about political correctness but about German law where I reside and our server is located.
However, I think there is nothing that can't be solved by an additional 32kb download from somewhere else. :kilroy:
