No, I think these are the old SP1 and SP2. MS took them down so avsim kindly made them available :salute::salute::salute:

Thanks! I figured as much, but I haven't been keeping up with things flightsim-related.N

Interesting, but you still have to ring them to re-envigorate your alloted installs within an unspecified time period. So they no longer support FSX but equally they retain ultimate control over it. I wonder how long before they abandon the telephone thing and you are not able to get it running at all.

Hi guys,

in fact, MS continues to provide these service packs on its own website: http://www.microsoft.com/Products/Games/FSInsider/downloads/Pages/default.aspx

Cheers, Holger

Holger: I actually checked that myself after seeing the thread - SP2 is still available, but the SP1 links seem to be down.

Of course, if you have the Acceleration discs, there's no need to worry about any of the service pack downloads.

No, nothing new at all.

Wrong assumption of the uploader on AVSIM.
Both SP1 and SP2 are still available in the MS library; MS is just a bit sloppy with their website links ..:)

Good of you to clear that up, I thought MS was setting up to pull the plug on us :pop4:
