I know this is a Bit of Topic for this Fourm but, Seeing how the Movie 'Top Gun" Prob. Impacted Most of the Members here, one way or another, I felt it only Right to Make Mention of this. What a way to do it, thats sad. Top Gun 2 was announced, does anyone know if he was directing that?

I think they should not stary from the Formula.... if it aint broke dont fix it/// If it is about drones, I wont waste my money.....

Honestly, if I had inoperable terminal brain cancer, I would probably go out with my boots on too. I wouldn't want my family to suffer as I wasted away. It's conjecture, but it wouldn't surprise me at all to know that this may have been his decision.

They are reporting that he did leave a note for family members. I enjoyed his movies and liked the way that music was mixed into the scenes in his films. A good book about the making of TOPGUN from the Navy's viewpoint is TOPGUN DAYS. Entertaining behind the scenes look.
