Just thought I'd pass this along after I had to reconfig the wifes computer a bit. When all was up and working I found her Realplayer lost the little download icon when a video was running. I'd encountered this before and never found an answer until today. After much noggin scratching and futile searches I finally found a solution here...

First: Disable Pepper Flash.1. Open a Google Chrome browser window.
2. In the address bar, enter chrome://plugins/
3. Click the Details link in the top right corner.
4. The top entry should show three versions of Flash. Click Disable for the first one (you should see the Location listed as
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Applicat ion\21.0.1180.60\PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll).
5. Close and restart Chrome, and try downloading a video from your favorite video site.
Amazingly after disabling that one Flash version the icon reappeared.
