Enjoy the break Ron and a Wonderful New year for you all!

Many Dutch people go to the beach as well on New Years day. This year the temperatures this year will be around -4 Celsius (25 Fahrenheit)......

We only got -4C on top of a hill in Shropshire, but the fact that it hasn't been out of freezing fog all week means that my parents' garden really is rather icy and festive!

I think everyone is in it now, by 2 minutes, so Happy 2009, all! :friday:

My car informed me that it was -6 this morning, but by the time I'd climbed up to the top of our local hill, I was able to remove my jacket and bathe in beautiful sunshine with no clouds in sight. Happy New Year all.
