Wondering on how you guys are managing the TACAN/ILS issue.
My VRS isn't recognizing her at all and I would like to, without applying the royalefrenchnavy TACAN gauge that works perfectly on my freeware other aircrafts and helos.
Maybe inserting the radius number in VRS ACM tactical\carrier navaids\configuration "undefined carrier"?

Yes Robert, that's the way it should be inserted.

Have you checked and/or posted this "issue" on the VRS forum?

Cheers,
Hank

I did. Now I'm waiting for an answer, but I'not very confident as i feel there's something laying under the surface. As if there's not the willing among the house, and I could add fsdreamteam with their vLSO, to solve the issues. Maybe I'm wrong. Sure it's a pity for all.

And have you already inserted the data coupled to the frquencies? (for example 115.00 becomes 97X)

Cheers,
Hank

I verified my F-14 tacan gauge got E signal on 116.00, that crossed with my findings is 107X. Not working.

Although I am still tinkering I found that 180 works in the ACM radius at least for carriers inserted using AI carriers. Still trying to find the right set up for the scenery carriers.

As starter of this thread I thanks all of you guys that are working hard trying to solve this issue. We really want the best payware carrier well working with the best payware aircraft. Unfortunately my fsx-pc left me just two days after installing big E and now I'm out for a couple of days.
It's our problem.

Great topic. This was a question I was woundering about when Team TBS released the Big E. The VRS Bug is my primary carrier aircraft and I wanted to wait and hear what was said as the beautiful work done by the team has put their product on my list of must have. I will have to go read the post at VRS. It would be nice if you could post a link to it here. :salute:

Paul, the issue has been already posted in VRS and glowingheat forums. One says not to be interested in solving problems arising from conversions of old works, the other did not test the superbug due to the fact that no one of the developers and testers had it. No comment. Now you know what I meant with "it's our problem".

I saw over in the Team SDB support forum (http://www.glowingheat.co.uk/forum/) the suggestion of 180 as the radius. Sylvain will be back from vacation in another week or so. Perhaps he can shed some light on this.

Well all seems to be working now TACAN/ILS can't get a screenie of my ACM settings so here is a copy/paste of the ACM config.
The ILS may need some minor tweaking as I don't use it all that much.
