I hope I did it correctly..
I have in order
FSX
SP 1
SP2
SDK 1
SDK2
Then I uninstalled SP2 (FSX)
And installed X-pack.................................Good? Bad?
So I tried a carrier landing out the box....YUP..Crash and burn on deck...LOL
Then out to Norfolk Va NAS and flew the Blue Angel.......
But I noticed that there were lots of ground traffic, cars, trucks, etc, just running all over the place..Not on the roadways.....
I have...FSX GEX UTX FSGenesis My TrafficX
Normal?

By X-pack are you referring to the Acceleration package?
If so then your order is not so good.
Read here installation order (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=65038&highlight=chicken)

Thank you Boomer.....
So..don't even bother with FSX SP1 then? Everything else I get......
For you.....:ernae:
And I believe I'll go with the optional option just for the neighbors enterainment........:wiggle:
1) Defrag your hard drive.
*2) While waiting for that, sacrifice a chicken & lie prostrate in the direction of Microsoft.
3) Install FSX
4) Install FSX SDK
5) Fire Up FSX, register & allow the scenery libraries to be built.
6) Shut down FSX
7) Install Acceleration
8) Open Acceleration disk & install SP1a SDK
9) Residing in the same folder is the SP2 SDK, Install it.
10) Open the dll.xml & make sure that the disable tools is set to false.
*11) Dance naked under the light of a full moon as FSX loads for the 1st time.
*Optional but highly recommended to ensure success.

Yup no need for SP1, it is included in Acceleration (as well as SP2).

Its been rolled back for now as I had a driver failure and restored back..I'm doing a reformat and Image of my OS this week so I was just checking the order so I don't mess up my new install like I just did.....
Thanks.......Mason

You're gonna love it. FSX without Acceleration is no fun. The aircraft you get with Acceleration and scenarios are priceless.

I don't really know..Have never used it..But I do know it is a tool for building things like airports,scenery,repaints,etc...I think.......
Lots of folks here are builders/repainters and can answer that better than me.....I just like the planes and missions it gives you(Acceleration)
