The much anticipated news has come today, that the Avro Anson that has been under restoration in New Zealand, owned by Bill and Robin Reid, has made its first post-restoration flight, and that it was a complete success: http://rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Airshows&action=display&thread=14662&page=3

This is the only Avro Anson in flying condition on the planet in original military configuration.

Its very cool to see people take old forgotten bird like this and bring them back to perfect flying condition.
