Any of you guys ever used one of these. I have 2 large fans on the patio and ordered 2 misting rings. A friend of mine suggested this to get it cooler. Yesterday the pool water was right at 91 degs. Getting in felt good but when ya got out and sat for around 10 minutes ya started to sweat. I hope the fans will help.

As long as the air is moving when the rings are on, you should be pretty good!

I went with my wife and some good friends to Disney World in Orlando, FL in mid-July several years ago. Disney has installed large misting fans all over the park where you can cool off for a while, it takes a little getting used to but not long, and they do make a difference. If Disney invests in them I think they're a pretty safe bet for you, too.

As long as the humidity isn't too high, they are very effective. Seems like everywhere you go in central and southern AZ you'll find misters and misting fans outside. Many homes here also use "swamp coolers", but once the dew point climbs above 50 or so they lose their effectiveness.
