Thx for screenies...
3D model looks ok, but in total.... like FS2004/2002. No bump maps, very flat, medium textures. Not FSX standart but I hope it will be solved in the future.

I think they have done to have a good frame rate! it is very high! But of course it depends also on the machine as a harrier for fsx Full missing in my opinion this is very good!

I believe multi-player is a big part of their goal so with that in mind good frame rates are essential.

Is a matter of choice: There are two kinds of external models included, like in the F-104: One is the "SOLO",with bumps & speculars, the other is "UBUNTU" (suitable for multiplayer),with less animations and without bumps & speculars. I think Falcon used the UBUNTU version to take the screens.

Hello SSW,
Later, there will be additional ground effects (chocks, tapes, covers, etc.)?
Thanks,

Hi guys
PLEASE at least TRY not to shoot me down in flames, but does anyone know how this release compare to the Wilco version?
Yes, I KNOW I could eventually download it, but I'm one of those (apparently) stupid souls that can't even get registered;-)

Hy,
Nobody is (apparently) stupid that' for sure and about your registration have you see if the e-mail from us is in your Spam-box? We known that for some reason our provider is not welcome in some foreign providers. For this reason, if you have made the registration procedure and get no e-mail, please fill the contact form module on the site with the username and the e-mail provided during registration and we procede with the manual activation....
About the model there is no comparison between "Our" and Wilco Harrier two different worlds ;)

Hello Emanuele and thank you for such a quick response.
With respect though, my question was really aimed at other users;-) No insult to you intended, but I think you maybe a little bias when it comes to this question. As of course you should be;-)

Does this pretty plane have a quick start.
No, this is not a "simplified" plane. You have to follow the checklist just like in the real plane, and in less of one minute you're ready to fly!

Normal start.....
- Throttle Idle Detent - SET
- BATT - ON
- GEN - ON
- APU - ON
- STARTER - ON
this is the normal start and I think it's quick...or not? ;)

Well, I can't for the life of me get the thing to start. I go through al the procedure and the engine just keeps spooling up but never actually starts. I don't want to make a donation until I'm sure that I can start it!

If the engine hangs it means something went wrong trough the installation process (you had the link with the dwnld link):
http://www.simskunkworks.102virtual.org/index.php/how-to-install-activate-models
Sure to have checked all steps ?
Sure to have followed written indications ? (ie: if you are a win7 user, install and execute with admin privileges)
- step 3: MSVC2010 installed ?
- step 4: FSUIPC installed ?
- step5: check if exists the file: sswks."your_pc".AV8B-HARRIER-II.ssw<ac_type>
</ac_type>if above is correct the engine starts as it starts for many others like you.

Nope, can't start the thing either, and my demo timed out before I could. Not a good selling tool really. Thank god I have the freeware UKMIL harrier to fall back on:isadizzy:

Did you ever wonder why several positive comments even in this forum and you and a few others can not get it going ?
May be the answer is contained in some of my post into a similar thread,
luckily you have the UKMIL Harrier, better fits to you.

Mario, you've had one thread unstuck & closed already. You're on the way to another. It seems to me that there are enough people having issues (btw UKMIL made his FsX Harrier so I dare say he knows a bit about FsX aircraft!) that you need to explore your systems and manual and the time-out situation. Continuing to be condescending to our members will result in a ban, which I'm sure neither of us want.

Roger, as you can see above to each question asked politely i respond politely, i do not answer politely to questions that contain insults, i have never made offensive comparisons with other producers and I think i deserve respect.
If the post made by UKMIL it seems respectful because my answer would not be?
If this is the measure you use in judging is better for me to leave this place, i ask you to delete my account, I'm going to keep company with Milviz's Colin.
I willingly leave a place where it is not allowed to have a brain.

....NormallyI would stay away from commenting on these things unless they were directed at me...
...But REALLY??? Every post contains something negative or condescending! Not what I like to see in my SOH community. At all.
