Hey Txnet :wavey:,

I saw in the Sunday's ads that Best Buy has the PNY nVidia 8800GT(S) 512 Card on sale for $219.98. I just yesterday upgraded the power supply on my HP m8000n computer from 300 watts to an Antec 430 watt unit. (Enough watts?)

Three Questions:
1. Is that a good card to run FSX? (I can't afford any more $, right now.)
2. Is PNY a good brand?
3. If I get it, I'll need to use a DVI to VGA Adapter to get it to connect to my Samsung 914V Monitor. Is that a good idea? (I can't afford to invest in a new LCD monitor too!)

PS, I forgot to mention I'm running Vista Home Premium, 32 Bit, with 3 Gigs of RAM.

Rebel even the worst of the 8800GTs run FSX pretty good if it has a fast processor pushing the graphics card. I am told that the AMD 2.6GHz Athlon 64 X2 5200 will push FSX but I have no first hand knowledge on it. It's too bad you really can't overclock the HP unit a bit more. I will put it this way, if you can run FSX with the integrated Nvidia GeForce 6150SE graphics chip that comes with the equipment you have, you're experience with FSX is about to get a lot better.
