Hello,
I have never flown CFS1, so please excuse what I'm sure is a basic question but is this still used online? Is this game still available? I have flown CFS3 many times ( I started with CFS3) I'm aware of ETO, OFF, and its versions, but have never seen CFS1. Ive read nothing but good things about this game and any advise would be greatly apreciated!:applause:

~S~ Carnivore.....CFS1 is still out there. It is stable and very easy on the system. It is wide open to all kinds of aircraft and scenery add-ons. Many of us get together through IP games....The AAC plays on Sundays at 1200 hrs. We vary missions each week (i.e. Bomber runs with escort...fighter sweeps...etc.) Here is a link that gives you all the info you might need....

When you find a copy and are ready to get set up, drop us a note and we will assist you in any way we can...MM

flip those steaks, Man!!!
you don't want to cook the life out of them.

if you started with CFS 3, be aware that the graphics in CFS 1 are very basic by comparison. the advantage is that the frame rates remain high, especially for those with low end machines.
BTW, have you flown the CFS 3 IP Games? If you can connect there, it should be no problem with us.

Smilo,
Thank you Sir for your reply. Yes I do play IP- CFS3 daily, I actualy don't have a copy of CFS1, I started out with cfs3. Would a "vanilla" copy of CFS1 be online IP play ready?..or would i need further updates?. Since i hate to miss a good sim, I have one on order via ebay ( thanks Winslow33) I'll be all over that like a hobo on a ham sandwich!

~S~ Carnivore,

CFS comes very ready. Keep in mine that it is 10 years old and thousands of add-ons are out there to inhance the game. You can now go from the Civil War to Star Wars and beyond. The game is ever growing and you will not be sorry. When you are ready, we will be here for you.

~S~ Smilo,
Yes Sir I do have TS, and use it often. I'm able to host for the group if ever needed. Sometimes while flying CFS3 one will host the game, and if there many flyers, another will host TS. We found this helpful incase of a PC crash during a game then at least we still have contact with most the players.
Thank you,
Tom. ~S~
