OLATHE, Kan. -- A high school student who vomited on his Spanish teacher has been charged with battery against a school official. The misdemeanor charge was filed Monday against the Olathe Northwest High School student.

The 17-year-old boy was charged as a juvenile and his name was not released.
Rick Guinn, an assistant district attorney, said witnesses can corroborate that the boy intentionally vomited on teacher David Young.

If convicted, the boy likely would face probation, Guinn said. Prosecutors also are seeking an apology.
I think a message is being sent by both the school district and the district attorney that this behavior will not be tolerated," Young said.

The student's father said his son told him he did not mean to throw up on the teacher but had been made uncontrollably ill by the stress of final exams.

The father said the district expelled his son and recommended he enroll in an alternative school in the fall.

so he could get a record for vomiting on a teacher ??? that will destroy his chances at certain jobs.

tis ok though, the teen then sues the school for undue stress and also potential loss of earnings ( due to the crim record ) and then goes for the jugular in the respect that he could also go for attempted manslaughter ( stress of the exams and then stress of the court appearance then raises his heart rate which could kill him ).

Ahh perhaps these litigous bastards at the school might want to look at the long term consequences of their actions in trying to destroy a young life. Perhaps it is just another example of the mean spiritness of teachers. ( i dont like overbearing teachers. )

That's when a teacher should be perfectly excused for hauling off and slapping the pee-total **** out of a student!! :angryfir:

But then that would be accault on a minor, then he could have the legal right to "defend" himself, then he could IIRC still sue the school for damages...
