Things are coming along quite well. Just thought I'd post some new screenshots of the VC, as everything is now more-or-less complete. The night shots show the green photoluminescent instruments alone, plus some views of the cockpit with the Ultraviolet lights on which make white surfaces luminescent. Showing the VC at night is a bit of a challenge with a screenshot, but hopefully you can see enough! UV shots also show the red and white gun system lights, indicating the system is on and the guns armed and ready to fire.

Superb work, Mike! You've done an excellent job with the fluorescent lighting and glowing gauges. Hopefully this means that a release date is not too far away. ; )

Will it run with just sp2? Or do you need acceleration.

Acceleration has the more accurate engine and flight dynamics - and so the 109K is being developed for that.

It may run with just SP2, but hasn't been tested so far.

At the moment, no you cannot do combat, at least not seriously.
We're waiting for VRS to release TacPack, then combat will finally be there.

@Mike: excellent screens, thanks for showing that.
Funny coincidence, I was watching some video on Youtube about the butcher bird history just two weeks ago, and the Bf-109 was mentionned so often that I started looking for an FSX-native one all over the net :D

Just a couple more, for fun.

The first might be called "Time to Bail Out";

66097

The second, "Perhaps a Belly Landing Will Make Escape Easier"

66099

Or something like that. :) Note the damage to the loop antenna from the jettisoned canopy.

You're in trouble now!!! I believe Panther has a patent on that type of landing!
